This gallery will contain all of my photos for the DailyPhotos group. It will be a hodgepodge of pictures. The default way to view this will be in the journal form as I will try to comment on each photo I upload to the group to give them all some context. In this way I will hopefully not only be able to use this as a log for my photography, but also for the way my photography affects me or is affected by me on a daily basis.

This experiment affords the photographer so much depth of inspiration I'm truly grateful to the creators!

andrew > I was out stomping around in the snow today and I saw this... Sadly because I'm sick I wasn't able to stay out as long as I wanted and all the shots didn't turn out as nicely as I would have liked. This isn't the best one I took today by far but it is the most arresting.

I was walking across the parking lot to work and I saw this... There are other photos in my galleries... Nature, Golden Star, if you are interested.

Sadly I didn't have time before I started work to get the shot I really wanted...but the few I took turned out pretty nicely.

andrew > I suppose most would say I failed at this "one-a-day" thing. But I have been away due not only to the hectic season but also because of injury [You can see pictures of that if you so desire in my "injuries" gallery.

I have however been taking photos daily. Just haven't been able to find the motivation to post them through the haze of work, illness, and painkiller induced coma I have been in for the last little while.

For now here is a picture of the sunset at my work recently. It is a zoom of a larger photo [not a crop, just a separate picture with more zoom. To see the rest I will be posting a sunset gallery in nature or photography so have a look.

I was surprised by how powerful the pictures were. I was hesitant to place the streetlight directly in the center but I think it gives it some amount of majesty.

andrew > Just messing around at work again. It's strangely dead for the christmas season so I expect I'll be able to get a bunch of these fun ones... This is a pineappe top in the star burner of the range. Macro. It's also like a little christmas tree ephigy.

This game is actually why I didn't post.... that is whiskey and rum in those glasses and we played the whole game!

I took this at work. If you've ever worked in a kitchen you'll understand. For those of you who haven't, those are "chits" or "bills" Each one just a long list of food that has to be prepared all at once.

Well boys... I guess we better start cookin!

It's a tiny man perched on the edge of a frying pan handle on my stove... but if you use your imagination just a little....

It's just a simple shot of a candle in an opaque white martini glass.

I thought the composition would lend it some elegance and that the lighting provided a suitably velvety and sensual mood....
